Very Important – Violette’s Special Day 2022

Violette’s special anniversary day will take place on Sunday 10th July 2022, having been postponed from 2021 due to Coronavirus restrictions.

The Parade will leave from the Park in Wormelow at 1.30pm led by a Highland Piper. It will meet Violette Szabó Race Horse at the Rosemary Rigby Millennium Green, who will lead the way to the Museum.

Another highlight: the R.A.F. are planning a very special fly-past for Violette! So at 3pm they hope to bring a Hurricane.

This year, to give people space, there will be no marquee – and will you kindly bring a family picnic and chairs.

Museum Opening Hours

Now that all the coronavirus restrictions have been lifted, the Museum has re-opened. The opening hours are 11.30am–1pm and 2.30–4pm every Wednesday from April–October or by appointment. Please telephone 01981-540477 for further information.
